Archivist’s Corner

Pick up a free archiving kit and learn simple ways to preserve the things you have sitting in boxes, closets, phones, and hard drives.

Archivist Zakiya Collier of Black Memory Workers and Faith Robinson of Bed-Stuy Forever will be on hand to scan photos and documents, as well as answer questions and share practical tips for archiving, documenting everyday life, starting your own family history projects, and more. This project is supported by The Laundromat Project through the Create & (Re)Connect Fund.

Black Storytelling Fest is presented by Black Storytelling Week in partnership with Black Memory Workers and the Office of Councilmember Chi Osse.
